As we enjoy this beautiful day, let us all take a moment to reflect on and appreciate the sacrifices that the men and women in our military, along with their families, have made and continue to make in protecting our freedoms and this great nation. Thank you to all who have served and are serving in our military.

As I reflect on those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, I’m reminded of the following clip from the movie ‘Saving Private Ryan’. In the movie, General Marshall recites a letter that President Lincoln wrote to a mother who lost all five of her sons fighting in the Civil War.

Delegate Jackson Miller and I with Congresswoman-elect Barbara Comstock on her last day in Richmond. On to DC and Congress for my friend Barbara!!!

Voting Irregularities in Virginia

There are numerous reports of touchscreen voting machines improperly recording votes for Democrats instead of Republicans. Watch an actual example of what’s happening in this link from Channel 13 discussing what’s happening in VA Beach as voters try to cast their ballots. bit.ly/1x3LM1R

My legislation, that became law in 2007, phases out these types of voting machines. It is time these voting machines are no longer used. 1.usa.gov/1AcJgKC

Soon to be Congresswoman Comstock, her Mom, her sister, her daughter….and look hard for the grandchild!
